In the “year of Italian roots in the World,” the International Folklore Review ‘Moles Aeterna’ of Moliterno, is enriched with new events!
The event celebrates roots, the links between the present and the past, a way to pass down folk traditions and enhance folklore, to connect and engage the communities of Moliternese scattered around the world.
Moliterno will be vibrant energy in the coming days also thanks to the Folk Group, “U Cirnicchiu,” an association that for years has been involved in the recovery and enhancement of the ancient local cultural heritage.

Among the many appointments, we highlight on Monday, August 12, the meeting of the Mayor and the Municipal Administration, who, with other Civil Authorities at 11 a.m. will meet the Guest Groups at the Municipal House Bibliomediateca “G. Racioppi.”

At 6:30 p.m., the photo exhibition “Il Futuro della Memoria” will be inaugurated at the Town Hall, and at 9:00 p.m. in Piazza De Biase there will be the 1st Gala Evening of “MOLES AETERNA” – CIOFF® International Festival with the ‘performance of the Groups from BOLIVIA, PHILIPPINES, SLOVAKIA and COLOMBIA.

On the other hand, the evening of Tuesday, August 13, will be dedicated to the 2nd Gala evening of “MOLES AETERNA” – CIOFF® International Festival with the performance of the Groups from BOLIVIA, PHILIPPINES, SLOVAKIA, COLOMBIA and ITALY, the appointment is at 9 p.m. in Piazza De Biase.

This will be followed at 12 midnight by a greeting with exchange of gifts and presentation of participation plaques to the groups from BOLIVIA, the PHILIPPINES, SLOVAKIA and COLOMBIA.
