The event will be held in the auditorium of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni at 6 p.m. on 5 July 2024
“Dalla magia della tradizione al turismo delle origini” (“From the magic of tradition to the tourism of origins”) is the subtitle of the workshop, which takes its cue from the identity that Colobraro has been able to carve out in recent years and which, on this occasion, will give rise to the community workshop “Putting down roots. Stories and intertwining of people from Colobraro in the world’.
The mayor of Colobraro Nicola Lista, the regional coordinator of the Tourism of Roots project for MAECI Elvira De Giacomo, Stefania Bruni of the Basilicata Tourist Board, and Luigi Scaglione for the International Study Centre Lucani nel Mondo are scheduled to greet the audience.
The meeting will be addressed by Annalisa Romeo, vice-president of Paesi e Radici, for Italea Basilicata, Valeria Capobianco for the Basilicatё project, and will be joined by Nick martino from Quebec in Canada and Tony Mastadonna from Ohio (USA). The moderator will be Concetta Sarlo of Paesi e Radici and town councillor of Colobraro.
Italea Basilicata is the Lucanian declination of Italea’s national project, managed by the company Paesi e Radici, winner of Maeci’s call for regional activities on tourism of origins.
The evening ends with a tasting of typical products.
