In addition to a religious moment, there will be a large outdoor table where it will be possible to taste a typical menu, prepared with local ingredients and according to traditional recipes, a workshop to discover ancient Ruotese, “La Ruoti della Fortuna,” a kind of competition on the Ruotese dialect. The afternoon will continue with a conference during which experts in the field will speak to discuss emigration and welcome the many Ruotese who return to Ruoti for the feasts of San Donato and San Rocco, an opportunity to reunite with family and celebrate traditions. This moment will be enlivened by a theatrical performance and a performance of traditional dances with the Miss’48 Folk Group.
