Castelmezzano is preparing to celebrate the spirit of aggregation and honor its history, organizing a series of special events that will anticipate the anniversary of the Patron Saint, San Rocco da Montepelier (19 August). The initiative, part of the “Spaces of Common Roots” project, aims to connect the local community, emigrant descendants and visitors, creating a bridge between past and present.

​This project is a unique opportunity to celebrate the return of our fellow citizens and their descendants living abroad, offering a rich and diverse program.

Here are the scheduled activities:

• 14 August 2025 – An unmissable musical event: “From Baroque to Rock”. Get ready for a real journey through time, a concert that will range from the classic sounds of the 17th century to the contemporary sounds of rock.
• 16 August 2025 – A dive into the past with the exhibition “Visual warehouses on display”. A precious collection of photos documenting emigration from Castelmezzano in the last century will be on display. An opportunity to reflect and rediscover the stories of those who have left their homeland.
• 17 August 2025 – Music, dances and tradition with the “Castelmezzano Folk Festival”. An evening dedicated to popular and folk music to celebrate our traditions and cultural roots.
