The experience
In the heart of the Lucanian Apennines – Val d’Agri – Lagonegrese National Park, lies the ski location of Sellata-Arioso, at an altitude of over 1200 meters.
Snowshoe enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the stunning green and white setting of the lush Lucanian forests, which extend up to the summit of Monte Volturino, as well as towards the sources of Fossa Cupa and Arioso. This will be an opportunity to explore fairy-tale landscapes and snow-covered mountain trails of enchanting beauty.
The activity will conclude with a tasting of traditional products: Podolica cheeses, Podolica meat, Lucanian sausages, and excellent wine that has never been absent from Lucanian tables, accompanied by an accordion that brings us back to the rhythms of the heart with tarantellas and traditional pastoral songs, just as our grandparents did during the winter months.
Join our group to explore inaccessible places and enjoy the tranquility of nature, and then gather around a table to listen to the stories of tradition and cuisine from Basilicata.
